how do i turn on the bluetooth on my laptop.?

I have an Advent 5311, i have paired my phone {nokia} with my laptop, but every time i try to send pictures from my phone it says make sure the other device is turned on. I cant find where i turn it on. I looked in the control panel but i couldn't see it any-ware. Please can anyone help me, (my phones bluetooth is turned on and not hidden.
 
go 2 "start," type in "bluetooth." click on "bluetooth devices." go to "bluetooth setting," and allow devices to find/connect 2 ur computer
 
if you go to control panel, switch it to classic view if its not on that and look for device manager, that shows all the things that make up your computer. look for something with bluetooth in the name, probably in other devices or something. anyway it should be the only thng that says bluetooth. right click and turn on(or enable etc.)

just had a google.. are you sure your laptop has bluetooth? i couldnt see it in the specs.
you might need to buy a usb adapter also most laptops with bluetooth havce a button under the screen or to the side of the keyboard with the bluetooth symbol... obvious but who knows you might not have checked. plus what they said
