I have a 2010 Toyota Camry SE with the push-button start (vs a key ignition). How do I reset or turn off the "maintenance required" light on my dash? The light has come on just short of 10,000 miles, signifying I need an oil change - even though I don't for another 5,000 miles.
Thanks!
Since I'm getting answers that aren't in the least helpful, let me clarify. The car has 10,000 miles on it. The oil was changed at 5000 - with synthetic oil, at the dealership. The synthetic oil is good for 10,000 miles, which means I don't need it changed until I hit 15,000. The light came on exactly when I hit the 5,000 mile mark, which means the dealership did not reset the light. I called the dealership, and they confirmed this. To save myself an hour waiting for the dealership to reset, I thought I'd ask if there's a simple way to turn it off myself. Also, I consulted the owners manual, and there are NO INSTRUCTIONS on how to do such a thing. If you don't have a helpful response, then please don't respond. Thank you.
