How do I transfer PHOTOS and MUSIC from my ipod classic to my PC??????

I lost all my computer information and I really really need my photos. How do I get it on my computer. For free...
 
You can monkey around with free stuff but I did it using:
touchcopy from:

http://www.wideanglesoftware.com/

I have no found a "free" way to do this.
