How do i transfer my Sims 3 & late night saved games to another computer?

Im using late night on another computer and thats where my saved games are
i looked up online and it said

Find your Sims 3 folder in My Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Saves. Copy them to your flash drive, or email them to yourself at the other machine and place them in the save folder in the same location

so should i install both games into my new laptop then do that ^^
?
