How do I transfer everything thats on my Iphone to an Iphone 4 ?

I have an Iphone3G and I am going to get the Iphone4 in a couple weeks. Do I need to save all my apps and songs and stuff on a CD to transfer everything to the new Iphone4? If so how do I do that?
