how do i transfer all my media from itunes from my laptop to my desktop?

okay so all my songs from itunes is in my laptop and i just downloaded itunes on my desktop computer
and i thought you could sync the songs from the ipod to the computer but it is not working so how can i do it
 
The best thing to do would be to buy a flashdrive (they're about $5 at office max),plug it into ur computer and drag all the media from itunes onto the flash drive. Then unplug it out of your laptop, and plug it into ur desktop. Go to Start, My Computer, and find your flashdrive. double click on it, and all ur media will be there. Now open itunes, and drag all the media from the flashdrive onto the itunes on your desktop....and you're all set!!!!!!!!! Hope that helped...
