I bought a used 2008 charger it didnt have a keyless entry remote. when i lock it close the door and then manually open it with they key the alarm goes off. some say these cars have remote start. it also has a small button on the bottom side of the driver side. like under the steering colum with a red led it goes on when the alarm is active and if i push it it makes a chirp.
