How do I tell how many messages I have sent on my Samsung Eternity cellphone?

I just got this phone and I have no idea how to tell the amount of messages I sent. I don't want to go over my monthly limit.
 
I have samsung as well depends what phone service you have. Call your carrier and they will tell you a number you can text and you will get a free text back saying how many you have used. Once you get the text you can do it whenever . Hope that helps.
