I have 6 that I feed and usually anywhere from 4-5 stay in on cold nights. Some nights, all 6.
They all use the litter box but one of them, Im pretty sure i know which one, doesn't cover his up. Neither #1 or #2 and it STINKS in a hurry.
He is a really good cat and Im sure he just doesn't know any better. I never SEE him go which is a problem, One time, I took him to the litter box and tried to use his paws to cover up his stink but he just didn't get it. That worked fine with some of the younger kittens who used to do the same thing.
This guy is bigger, its hard to hold him in place in a litter box and he just doesn't "get" what Im trying to show him.
Appreciate any suggestions.
He really is a gentle, submissive cat but he just wont cover his waste and he doesn't "get it" when I try to teach him.
He has not been neutered. I had 2 female kittens done and the mama is next. I cant afford the 3 boys. (2 of the boys are almost a year old)
None of them go anywhere except the box its just the one guy that wont cover his.
4 of them were INDEED feral cats. Born of feral mothers and none had any human contact until me. 2 were born inside, their mom was feral but they are not.
None of the 6 cats have any human contact except me.
