I have had a few mormon missionaries coming to my door for the last couple of months. Now I was giving some serious thought to joining the church, as I have been feeling that I do need some religion in my life. I have had some bad experiences with religion in general because of my father, and I had pushed God away all together, but anyways I take my choices seriously and I wasn't about to up and say yes to them as soon as they showed up to my door, but they are very persistent so I went to look up info on mormonism, and honestly its not all cotton candy and rainbows like the missionaries made it sound like. I'm not downing them or pursecuting them by no means. But the things they believe in I can't wrap my mind around. Plus, I'm a very cautious, independant and stubborn young lady (Thanks dad) so the whole not questioning the leaders when thet assign you a calling, or questioning anything for that matter I can't do. Anyways, my question is these guys are sweet, but how do I let them down gently without getting them offended or getting any guilt trips?
