How do i talk to an old friend that i haven't talked to for a while?

Theres this girl that i used to talk to everynight, and then we had a bit of a fight and havent talked since, it was months ago but im not sure how she feels about the whole thing.
I go to talk to her but im not game enough. i dont wanna find out she hates my guts and i dont want to be told off..

What should i do???
