How do i take out my cartilage piercing?? (read description)?

I got my cartilage pierced today (top of ear) but my parents found out and they're making me take it out. How do i take it out without it getting infected or anything? I'm scared it'll scar or get infected or create keloids (i think thats what they're called) :S

Also once i take it out, how do i clean it and stuff?

Any other info would help (:

[I dont want any comments on how it was a stuupid thing to do or whatever, i dont really care]
