How Do I Take Good Live Photos Of a Band At A Show?

I'm a photographer,
and I'm doing a live shoot next friday,
for a band called "Rising of Apollo"

I've never done a live shot before and i'm nervous,

i need soem pointers,
i'll be backstage, onstage, and in the audience,

how can i get some good picturesss???
