I had this problem earlier as well, I know they are stored in C:\Users\PCbane\AppData\Local\Rockstar Games\user_e000006cecdd9bf3(or similar) folder.
When I copy the same folder to that location, it doesn't show up in the game, starts a new game and a new folder.
Now I have played several hours got money so definitely don't wanna do all over again, I heard there is some software that helps in this but please give me detailed procedure for it and win 5 points for best answer
