You should have it checked at a garage,it could just be moisture/damp in the box as happens on trucks.A lot of people remove the bulbs but this is very dangerous you could end up with no brakes if it sticks in that mode.ABS AS FITTED TO HEAVY TRUCKS HAS CAUSED SEVERAL ACCIDENTS WHICH HAVE BEEN KEPT UNDER WRAPS.Travelling on a rough road surface with abs can lead to your braking distance being increased two or three fold as the suspension bounces. It can be a severe driving hazard to inexperienced drivers.

I have a Toyota Carina E 96 and its got an abs light on the dash, It won't pass it's MOT with this light on. I know the ABS works fine but the light wont go out. How can i stop the light coming on all the time so it will pass the mot?
I know that the ABS works because when i slam on the brakes in wet conditions the wheels do not lock and i can feel the abs working through the brake pedal. all of you who have said it must be working fine are forgetting that it could just be a faulty sensor which means the abs would still function perfectly fine!
