how do i stop rust on my bike?

i know hyosungs are prone to rust so is there a way to stop this?
i have just bought a gt125r and don't want it to lose its looks prematurely any tips?
i use my bike everyday for work so during the day its not kept in a garage and not using it in the rain is not an option
 
Keep it washed. I use Turtle Wax Zip Wax soap. This soap puts a light coat of wax on my bike each time I wash.

Keep it waxed. Keep wax on the chrome also. I use Turtle Wax Ice liquid polish. It is very easy to apply. Because it is so easy to apply I tend to wax my bike more often.

Keep it as dry as possible.

Get a good bike cover that you can secure. You don't want the cover blowing away in the wind. Keep it covered whenever possible.

If it does get wet, if possible dry it with a chamois as soon as possible.
