How do I stop my newly painted doors from making a "popping" sound?

My bedroom door (and all other doors) make a popping noise due to the new paint they received before we moved in. It is NOT coming from the door hinges, but it is coming from where the door meets the frame.

I have tried using sand paper to sand down the paint, oil on the hinges (just to be sure), oil on the frame, you name it and I cannot stop the doors from popping when opened.
