How do i start this article?

High School newspaper:
There is a new techer in our schoolthat has the weirdest rules
one of them is if u r tardy u either do the Chicken dance in front of the class
or bring treats the following day!
SO.. im writing an article about this im really bad with intro's!! so how should i start it? it's a great article and i want to do good on it.
HELP!
 
If the purpose of the article is to acknowledge the oddness of her rules, I would personally try something a bit sarcastic to get your point across.

"Some assert that teaching techniques serve to illustrate unique ways to make the classroom environment more effective... but there are certainly some exeptions."

Of course, that's just my opinion, you could go about it several different ways. Hope this helps though!
