English settlement....? How do I start and essay discussing three of the most important individuals for English settlement of the U.S colonies?
I was thinking about John Winthrop, William Bradford, and Edward Taylor. Those were all Puritans, but I just don't know how to start the essay.

PS: This is the VERY first Hisory class I've ever taken and have never written anything like this before.

It could be like this....

As the saying goes Rome wasn't built in a day, and neither was America. It took many years and many people. People such as John Winthrop and William Bradford helped the English branch out just as the Ancient Roman Empire did.
