How do I sprint faster :(?

First off I'm a girl. I just had a race yesterday and I'm technically a beginner racer because I only raced about 4 times :/ I had my first ever 300m dash in 54secs :( and I want to improve. Any tips?
My legs are barely muscular ... in fact I have "chicken legs" (all the fat that was on them turned mostly into muscles but they're still skinny)
Also, while I was doing the 300m dash, I ran the first 200m alright but i was slowing down ALOT in the last 100m. I got so tired :/ and I'm not a very good pacer :( so like whats a good pace for a girl who does 300m's around 54 secs?
