...and a music video I am making? I wanted to record a parody of the song "With Arms Wide Open" by Creed by recording a parody song with my friends called, "My Arms Are Broken". Now I wrote the lyrics for the song and first I wanna get your opinion on it. So here are the lyrics for the parody.
The doctor said, I broke my arms
At first I thought, it was no harm.
I close my eyes, I pray for Grace.
Then tears of pain, roll down my face..... cuz
My arms are broken
They have no more use
I want to kill myself
I'll cut my wrists open...... with
My arms still broken
My arms are broken
I remember, holding the rail
I slipped and fell, I greatly failed
Straight down the stairs, thought I saw the light.\
I felt despair, I want to end my life! cuz...
My arms are broken!
They have no use
I want to kill myself
I'll cut my wrists open....... with
My arms still broken!
I still want to use my arms.
I wish I could, but I can't anymore... cuz
My arms are broken
My arms are broken
I can't use my arms, again-HAN
My arms are broken, they're broken
(Guitar Solo)
If I had just one wish, only one demand
I hope my arms will heal, and also to my hands
I hope I'll use you to, m*****bait once again.
Then again whats the point... cuz
My arms are broken!
My arms are broken
They have no use
I want to kill myself
I'll cut my wrists open....... with
My arms still broken!
I still want to use my arms.
I wish I could, but I can't anymore... cuz
My arms are broken.
My arms are broken.
I can't use my arms, again-HAN
My arms are broken. They're broken
They're broken..............
Those are the lyrics for the song, so along with your answer, tell me what you think of the lyrics. But the hardest by far is imitading Scott Stapp's singing voice. Let me tell you, he always sounds like he has something stuck in his throat, or Eddie Vedder with 7 eggs in his mouth. It'll be difficult trying to do that voice. Is there anyway that I can sound like Scott Stapp when singing or be given tips on how to sing like him? I guess its hard trying to imitate people who sound annoying when they sing, and Scott Stapp is apparently one of them.
