How do I shrink a photo down to a size that'll fit in a locket?

I recently bought this locket for my best friend and I wanna put a picture of me and her in it, It's like REALLY tiny. Can anyone help me shrink the photo? Or better yet, shrink the photo , without having to spend any money. Thanks! Oh and btw It's heart shaped.
