I am new to making websites and stuff, and the only language I know some of right now is HTML, and thats what I made my first site with. Yesterday. The guy that helped me make it said I should set up mySQL and use PHP so I can allow people to make comments and stuff. He said I should also do it so I can update the site news section without having to update the html file and send it to the server through filezilla. All I know about the two, is PHP makes the site better and mySQL stores the PHP data.
Can someone please explain to me what they really are? And how can I set them up?
