How do I set up my pedal so that the delay is like this?

I got a boss DD-7 delay pedal
but I can't get the type of delay I want!
I'm not a very patient person and it's frustrating me, haha.
I've tried moving the knobs everywhere and I just get crazy a** delay!

I'm looking for something simple but yet cool sounding
