How do I set up my Panasonic Toughbook CF-28 to pick up a wireless signal?

Also when i plug up to the internet with a cord it doesn't detect that i am connected. How do I get it connected. Right now the only network connection showing up in the control panel is the NationalAccessBroadbandAccess.
