I ma using this book that asks for php5, mysql, apache, and java script. The set up instructions pretty much suck balls, as I have tried to follow the two different methods for windows ( XAMPP and the manual install of all the compnents ) So I figured that since I already use linux for c++ coding I might as well use it for web dev also. Oh and I already have all the packages installed for ajax I just cant get them to play together.. XD
