How do I set up a saltwater fish tank?

I have a 40 gallon fish tank and I need to know what I need to get started I already have a filter and a pump but I am on a budget so I can spend about $35 so yea!
And also what are some good saltwater fish for a beginer?
I was thinking about puffer fish but idk if there good for people just starting out!
And I have a turtle and like 20 fresh water fish already in a different tank so I guess that would count as some experince?

it has a great site under saltwater fish for beginners
i would suggest you start with an ocellaris clown (think nemo) they are very easy to raise and make a welcome addition to any tank
however i also recommend you check out fishlore.com (beginners guide) before you buy any salt water fish to make sure your tank is properly set up as this is why most people fail at thier first attempt
