How do I set up a blue tooth headset for a ps3?

I want to know how to do it right. Cuz the way I did it players don't hear me talk what is up with that help me plz
 
go to settings
then accesory settings
mange blue tooth device
then click registar new device
it will search for your blue tooth but it will have to be on or plugged in to your ps3 depends on wich blue tooth you have if it is the one with the ps3 logo on it hold the on buttun pluss the mute buttun at the same time till it blinks then clikck registar
