How do I set a photo taken on a HTC Desire as an uncropped Wallpaper?

I wanted to set a photo I took on my HTC Desire camera as my wallpaper but it needed me to crop the photo. After I cropped the photo, the wallpaper still seems to be zoomed right in and I can't see the whole photo.

How do I use the whole photo as a wallpaper without any cropping/zoom?4
