How do i score more in exams?

Not a point that I am boasting about, but it turns out that I have more knowledge about the concepts in the syllabus than my fellow classmates. Even they accept this fact. But when it comes to exams, I score pretty well (Like top 10 in the class)...but don't ace/top......What should i do to fulfill this dream ?

P.S. BTW I am an engineering freshman.
