How do I save gamecube games on my wii?

I can play game cube games on my wii alright, but when i try to save them, it tells me that the memory card slot is empty, and i have to start all over again! Help!
 
To save games, you will have to get a Gamecube memory card. You can find them at your local game store or on the internet.
 
use a game cube memory card in your wii to save your games. lift the back flap on top of your wii and you will see where it fits into. hope that helps you.
 
you have to have a memory card for the game cube, it goes in a memory card slot thats behind the game cube controler ports
