I would suggest that you download Mozilla Firefox - it is a free web browser. Then you can get an add on like download helper. This will enable you to download the streaming flash videos onto your computer hard drive. Then you can download a FLV player (there are free ones out there) - such as the one you can find on this website: http://www.martijndevisser.com/blog/flv-player/

Open up the flv player and drag the movie over to the file and it will play. Of course you can resize the viewing screen to what you want or go full screen on your computer. Or you can get a program like http://www.pazera-software.com/products/zune-video-converter/
this program will convert the flash video into other video formats.

YouTube FLV Video Converter is a decent to get flv videos from YouTube.com and convert to other video formats.

With its "downloading + playing+converting", you could easily get FLV videos from YouTube to your computer, you can even play the converted video on your iPod, PSP, mobile phone, Apple TV, Zune, iPhone etc.
