How do I run a test on my laptop to see if sims 3 works on it!!?

I got sims 3 2 days ago and every time I play on it it takes ages to load and then when it loads it cuts out! Can I run a test and if so how!!

I think I have all the requirements but I'm not sure bout the video card! It says I have mobile intel 915gm/gms, 910gml express

chip type intel (r) 915gm/gms, 910gml express chipset
total memory 128.0mb

For sims3 you need a
128 MB Video Card with support for Pixel Shader 2.0.
