How do I rip Cd's to my Xbox 360 arcade?

I have an Xbox arcade and i tried to rip a CD into it but when I pressed Rip CD ( Witch was dark gray as if it were not an option ) nothing happened. The CD is an audio that i just got from F.Y.E. on Tuesday. It isn't an mp3.
