How do I reset the theft system on a 2006 chrysler town and country?

While parked, my vehicle was hit on the front panel and since I have not been able to activate the alarm system. It was armed at the time of the hit and run, but witnesses said the alarm never activated. Is there a button to reactivate, or do I need to disconnect the battery for a short period of time to have it reset?
