How do i reset my car computer its a 1995 jeep grand cherokee?

one day my battery died, so i bought a new one, i went to start it and it ran for like 5 seconds then turned off also when i connected the battery all the lights were blinking and so was the security dash light. So i got the alarm taken off which is a aftermarket alarm and it started but now its doing it again, i think its the stock alarm doing it if so how do i make it go away
