how do i reset my bluetooth to pair with my new phone?

i have a bluetooth and i had it paired to a blackberry pearl, and when i paired it with the pearl i needed a password. now i have a g1 and it doesnt need a pasword to pair it. i tryed to just pair it to my g1 but wont because it still has the password from the pearl. how do i go about making the bluetooth pair with my new phone which is the g1? thanks only mature answers please! :-D
