How do I reprogram my Toyota Corolla's keyless-entry transmitter?

I recently replaced the battery of the keyless transmitter of my 1998 "Lovelife" Toyota Corolla, and now it won't work anymore. I heard there's a method to reprogram it. Rather than to bring it to a Toyota dealer and spend money, is there a way to reprogram it myself?
 
I looked it up on the internet and found the process in less than a minute.I typed in reprograming toyota keyless entry. SIx different individuals ran through the process ,easy good luck
