Well, to do the bulbs, you take off the cover around the gauges, then undo the screws around the instrument cluster. I think the '94 still had a speedo cable, so you'll have to reach around back of the cluster and disconnect the speedo cable (it clips in). If the truck is automatic, you'll have to undo the PRNDL cable as well (it's on the right side if I remember correctly)
Removing the dash is a MUCH larger job that involves removing the steering column and evacuating the A/C system.
