I recently witnessed my phone fall out of a bag and faceplant the concrete, without a protective piece (took it off a couple weeks ago b/c it was falling apart). My precious lifeline is now shattered and it's difficult and depressing, every time I have to use it. I have heard you can get them online for $40-50 and get a tool kit somehow to repair it. Or have someone put it in for $20-30. My only other option is taking it to Apple and spending $200+ to repair....ANY SUGGESTIONS?
