how do i remove the "basic" ring-tones on my mobile?

okay i got a new samsung and i'm new to the blue-tooth,music, camera phones. okay i do not have very much space on my phone and most of the things that take space is 20 useless/crappy ring-tones that i can't remove. (they take like 1,8 gig) next to the song/-s there is a Padlock that has the text "sys" on it. ( i think it's for system) how do i remove these songs/ring-tones
