how do I remove Telstra settings from my HTC HD2?

I have an unlocked brand new HTC HD2 however it came with all the Telstra settings and I am on Virgin.
Trying to connect to the internet it wants to go straight to bigpond and telstra pages which of course it then says I dont have access to.
How can I get rid of the preconfigured Telstra stuff on it and use my Virgin settings?
