How do I remove antivirus.NET from my computer?

I'm running AVAST on a full scan and I'm trying to see if that'll help remove it.
It keeps popping up saying I need to scan my system, and when I loaded firefox it said "Internet Explorer" could not run.
so yeah....any help? would appreciate it

It won't let me use internet, and I only have firefox installed....fuu. DB
