How do I remove a child locking feature on my rear passenger door of my 2005 Buick

Century? The door remains locked from the inside as well as the outside, all the time. I can't even get into my car from this side.
 
If it won't open from inside or outside, take it to your mechanic, or car dealer..the child safety lock only prevents opening the door with the inside door handle ....with the doors unlocked, you should be able to open the door with outside door handle... i would say you have a problem with the power solenoid, on your power door lock...unfortunately it is inside the door...
 
child locks should only effect the inside, but if it is the lock when you open the door look at what would be the back of the door from the side and there should be a little tab with a sticker above it and you just have to flip the little switch to the other position
