I removed the 4 torx bolts that appear to hold on the rear axle but the whole assembly; axle, shoes, and wheel cylinder comes off. Is the axle pressed into that assembly?
CountryBoy, when did they produce a rear wheel drive Sunbird??
Joe is correct. Pull they drums and you'll see the four bolts on the plates. Be careful not to kink the brake lines. You can't just straighten it out.
