How do I remove 2003 Honda rebel 250 charcoal canister?

The air vent tube that comes off the gas tank goes to a charcoal canister under the air filter case, how do I remove the charcoal canister to clean or replace? Is there an easy access? The Clymer doesn't show or tell how to remove it. Any suggestions on a more specific manual for this year rebel? Thanks
