how do i reformat my write protected flash disk?

my flash disk doesn't have a switch for write protection. And every time I format, a notification comes up that I can't because it's write protected. Help. ><
 
Hi, depending on the model there may be a small switch on the flash disk, that enables or disables the write protect mode. Simply flick the switch in the other direction.
