How do I recover files from an undetected 32Mbyte Memory card? (from a Nokia 6600)?

I have an old Nokia 6600 and it doesn't see the memory card that came with it anymore.
I tried putting in a macbook's cardreader but no response whatsoever.
There are some files on there that are important to me and I need to recover them.
The card is 32Mbyte MMC (Multi Media Card).
How do I recover the files?
