How do I record to my video camera from my sony HI-FI vcr?

i have gotten everything hooked up. I have my xbox 360 in the IN AV slots and my camera hooked up to the OUT AV slots. Now what do I do from here to record video to my DV camera? there isn't a picture on the camera yet that is the same as the T.V's yet
