Ok so ive already completed the fafsa, registered for classes, am officially enrolled and also have accepted my funds through my schools website. This is where im getting confused. Are they going to mail me a check and then i take the $ to pay for my classes or do they give the school the $ and then they deduct the cost of classes and book? Also i know that if there are funds left over then you get them to help cover the cost of additional expenses, which i should have around 800 left after my classes/books are paid for, so do i spend that $ on things like a decent bookbag and notebooks or ???
